About 2.png

Sacha Bernardson is a musician, producer of pop and experimental music, and composer for film, dance and theater. His work is situated between sound design, vocal and orchestral arrangements, playing harp, autoharp and percussion.
His music borrows architectures from pop and psychedelic rock, built from vocal assemblages, meticulous programming, baroque orchestrations and cryptic poetry.
He has released nine albums and EPs recorded over nearly a decade abroad, between Amsterdam, Pittsburgh, London and Reykjavik. Based in Iceland for three years, he is now in France, between Toulouse and Cordes sur Ciel.
Sacha also works with many media, painting, video, graphic design, creating his own visuals and clips.
Since 2009, he has initiated several artistic collectives, including Weird Kids (born in Iceland, with events taking place between Reykjavik, Edinburgh, Toulouse and Paris), which offers a new panorama on the assembly of artistic disciplines and their event perspectives, as well as international exchanges between artists aiming at developing more equitable partnerships, in complementarity with initiatives such as Imogen Heap's Creative Passport, of which Sacha is one of the ambassadors, as well as Sofar Sounds where he officiates in the Toulouse team, he is also the co-creator of the Tephra music label with composer and musician Benjamin Gibert.

Make it Real (2021)

Make it Real is a collection describing a multitude of fleeting, erotic and phantasmagorical moments.
With harp, piano, flutes and a pulsating effervescence, this is the second EP from the Metaverse album, an ongoing project (three EPs, a remix album, a series of podcasts and a new album) that looks at epistolary and artistic exchanges in the ocean of the internet.
This new chapter deals with vulnerability and sexuality, how to drop the masks when it's time to meet someone in the real world.

Make it Real was made in close collaboration with producers Alexis Michallek (Malachite), Benjamin Gibert (composer and co-founder of the label Tephra), flutist Marie Chevallier and Colombian musician Mav Nuhels (disco infente).

Concerts 2022.png
Solo Show

Electro-acoustic solo:

On the Celtic harp, the autoharp, sometimes with bells, unidentified sound objects and electro-sensitive instruments, Sacha sculpts an atmospheric, ambient and trip-hop repertoire. The concert is built around vocal effects and improvisations, bird samples and rhythmic noise sequences. Equipped with objects such as Playtronica instruments, Sacha produces sounds with water, fruits, plants, or in tactile interactions with his audience.

Acoustic Trio

Acoustic Trio : Piano / Harp / Autoharp-Voice:

Benjamin Gibert and Elise Esthere co-arrange with Sacha Bernardson a collection of songs with pop accents, drawn from the albums Rockall or Make it Real and from the new project to come.
